The Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has decided to promote the world of padel by founding the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, an innovative circuit that aims to publicize the values, methodology and DNA of this tennis academy in the amateur padel environment. Known for its prestige training young tennis players since its opening in 2016, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar had already shown its interest in padel with the development of training programs for youth and adults and the organization of numerous padel tournaments, including a World Padel Tour Challenger event. Recently, the Rafa Nadal Academy team powered by Richard Mille reached the final in the men's category, with the couple formed by Alex Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk, and achieving third place in the overall standings.
However, until now it had not been proposed to enter so fully into the world of padel as with the organization of this circuit that has come to stay. In its first edition, it will hold six events in Santander (Club G-6, from June 6 to 9), Madrid (Club La Masó, from June 28 to 30), Valladolid (Club Raqueta Valladolid, from July 5 to 7), Málaga (Nac Club de Pádel Nueva Alcántara, from July 12 to 14), Alicante Club Padelpoint La Nucía, from 23 to 25 August), Barcelona (Vallparc, in September), and will culminate the season in Mallorca, with the final event to be held at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar (Manacor), from 8 to 13 October.
Each team of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group will be composed of a minimum of six players, who will form three pairs in each round. In each of the events it will be guaranteed that each team will play a minimum of two heats. In addition, in each of the events there will be two men's categories (Viper, high level, and Veron, medium level) and two women's categories (Energy, high level, and Stima, medium level), in which the teams will try to be crowned in their city and enter the draw for the place that will allow them to play the final event in Mallorca.
To launch the circuit, the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar has decided to rely on the sponsorship of NDL PRO-HEALTH, the innovative line of food supplements created on the basis of Rafa Nadal's professional experience and the scientific quality of Cantabria Labs, which has racket sports engraved in its DNA. For example, Gemma Triay and Álex Ruiz, two of the most outstanding Spanish representatives in the most important professional paddle tennis circuits in the world, have recently joined the company as ambassadors, with the mission of making its products known to fans all over the world.
In all the venues of the Rafa Nadal Academy Padel Tour by The Adecco Group, NDL PRO-HEALTH will have a stand, will offer products in the welcome packs and will give away lots to the winners of each tournament, besides inspiring energy with its logo from the t-shirts of all participants, the photocall and the branding of the entire circuit in general.
