Gluten-Free Protein

Gluten-free protein is a safe and effective option for those looking to support their nutrition without compromising performance, especially for people with gluten intolerance or digestive sensitivity. Its main role is to provide high-quality protein to support muscle recovery, the development of lean muscle mass and overall health, without compromising digestion.

Key Benefits of Gluten-Free Protein

Gluten-free proteins are not only suitable for people with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivity, but also offer multiple benefits for performance, recovery and overall well-being. Here are some of them:

Suitable for people with coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity: You can take it safely, without the risk of gluten cross-contamination.
Supports muscle growth and maintenance: Rich in essential amino acids, especially leucine, which plays a key role in protein synthesis.
Supports post-workout recovery: Helps promote muscle repair and reduce muscle breakdown after exercise.
High digestibility: Formulated without gluten and with carefully selected ingredients for better tolerance.
Promotes satiety and supports metabolism: Ideal as part of a balanced diet to help control appetite and maintain energy levels.

In summary, taking a high-quality gluten-free protein powder allows you to support your nutrition, work towards your goals and feel your best, without unnecessary restrictions or complications.

What Types of Gluten-Free Protein Are There?

There are different sources of gluten-free protein to suit different needs and lifestyles:

Whey protein isolate: One of the most complete and easily absorbed protein sources. It provides all essential amino acids and is ideal for muscle recovery. In its certified isolate form, it is gluten-free.
Plant-based proteins (pea, rice, soy, hemp...): 100% plant-based alternatives, ideal for vegan diets or people with lactose intolerance. Easy to digest and naturally gluten-free.
Protein blends: Combinations of different protein sources (for example, pea + rice) designed to improve the amino acid profile and provide a more complete protein.

All these options offer high nutritional value without compromising digestibility or food safety.

Frequently asked questions

Is it normal to feel bloated after drinking protein shakes?

Not necessarily. The feeling of bloating is usually related to the quality of the protein, the presence of lactose, or each person’s digestive capacity. High-purity protein isolates, with low lactose content and formulated with digestive enzymes, such as Pepzyme Pro®, are designed to provide better digestive tolerance.

Does NDL protein help you lose fat or is it only for gaining muscle?

NDL protein is not specifically intended for fat loss, but rather to help you meet your daily protein needs. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and the maintenance of normal bones. Fat loss mainly depends on energy balance, diet, and physical activity.

When is the best time to take a protein shake?

The best time to take a protein shake depends on your goals and your total daily protein intake. After training is a very common option to support recovery, but it can also be taken between meals or as part of breakfast to help you meet your daily protein needs conveniently.

What is the difference between Whey, Isolate, and Hydrolysed protein?

Whey protein is whey protein derived from milk. Within this category, there are different types depending on how it is processed. Whey Isolate is filtered to obtain a higher protein concentration while minimising fats, carbohydrates, and lactose. Hydrolysed protein also undergoes a process that breaks the protein down into smaller peptides, facilitating digestion and faster absorption.
